Studio Meringue will have new Valentine design cards at Vintage Roost this weekend and next! This is one of my favorite shows because all year long I snap photos of things that look like hearts to me and then when January comes I pull all my photos and see if any one of them will make a card I think others would enjoy giving to a friend or loved one. Below is a collection of heart shaped photos I’ve taken this year and a few best seller hold overs from the past couple of years.
The first two are photos I took when Larry and I visited So. California’s Disneyland last summer.
We stayed in an RV Park walking distance from Disney and every night we watched fireworks in the night sky! I was excited to catch this heart shaped one as it lit up the sky.
During the second week of the Vintage Roost Valentine Opening, I’ll have these postcards available to purchase.
And for just .33 cents you can send a Valentine greeting postcard. These postcards are guaranteed to cause smiles and unbounded happiness. Sewn into a neat little cellophane package, just open – write your message – and they are ready to stamp and mail, just $2.00 each!

Friday December 7th and Saturday the 8th are the last two days that Vintage Roost is open for the Christmas season. Here are a few of the new card designs that I have for sale at the Roost this weekend. My friend Julie is selling beautiful cookies and I’ve included a couple of photos of them for you to enjoy.

Vintage Roost is opening this Friday & Saturday for its “Harvest Time Open House.” The Roost will be open 9/21 & 22nd then 9/28 & 29th, 10:00 – 5:00pm. Location is 935 NW Scenic Drive, 1/2 mi off of Hwy 20 in North Albany.
Studio Meringue will have Luggage Tags, Postage-paid Postcards and Greeting Cards for sale along with Hop Wreaths.
The first three cards are from a series I’m doing that feature my photograph with a sepia inked handwritten poem or song lyrics over the top.
From the Hops growing in my backyard I made wreaths. I start by using Hop vines that only have leaves on them, I strip off the leaves and weave them into a round form.

We attended a wedding this month of a Nurse that was one of a special group that took care of me while I battled Leukemia in 2007. She and her new husband are going to Hawaii on their honeymoon so I purchased a couple of travel books about the “Big Island” for them. I then incorporated Studio Meringue luggage tags into my gift wrapping!
Half the fun of giving a gift is wrapping it!!

This Vintage Roost show is just as wonderful as all of the others, except for the special fact that this one is full of sales. In addition to marked down sale items, crafters bring unfinished projects, not so collectible collections that they don’t want to collect anymore and just plain funky stuff!
