I’ve been spending a lot of time in my studio these last couple of months creating fun and beautiful things. My interests have followed along the lines of collage! I use my photos and vintage paper things together in color coordinated pieces. I’ve been making Blank Paper Journals, Blank Greeting Cards, and Tags for this show.
I hope you enjoy what you see because I really enjoy making these things!!

I made 16 3×3 cards using my photographs of mushrooms around my yard, I scanned the 3×3’s and placed two on each greeting card.

I made hanging tags out of the 3×3 collage cards.
We have a lot of Queen Anne’s Lace growing along the road. I pressed some and used this one on a card.
Another example of my collage adventures.

I took a postcard photo of Mt. Whitney and added some coffee dyed gauze behind a frame to give it texture. Then I added a postage stamp of Devil’s Tower.
Blank Journals are my favorite to make. They are $15 and come with a list of usage ideas. Bound together by hand with coffee dyed string.
The inside pages are a variety of papers, maps, gridded, lined, coffee dyed, stamped or embossed. Each one is unique and contains surprise embellishments.
The daily planner page in this journal is a copy of a page out of the billing planner that Dad kept for his painting business in 1968!
Next are my seasonal cards…..

Time for Pumpkins!

Beautiful flannel plaids are a theme at Vintage Roost this Fall so I made come cards to go along.

Time for spooky!

Sweet, funny kitty with clock eyes.

I took the photo of this house in Astoria a few months ago, then printed it in black and white. I put it back though my printer to add the beautiful black/blue crow.
Below I made greeting cards for Birthdays and blank cards for any time of giving!
Today was the first day of Fall Open House at Vintage Roost, so my friend Merla and I went out to breakfast then made a trip to VR to shop! I found a great little tin to keep treasures in….
